The Forbidden Snow received an Honorable Mention in the Winter Vision category of the Black And White International Photo Awards 2026.
I want to keep this in proportion. The competition is still young, and I do not know the exact number of photographers or submissions. Still, for me, it is a real encouragement.
The organizers also noted that post-processing was an area for improvement. That is useful feedback. I do not want editing to replace the moment, but I do want to learn how careful finishing can support a photograph without making it feel false.
