Zhang Tianzuo works through long-term photographic projects and visual essays, observing quiet, temporary relationships between individuals, groups, and their surroundings in everyday public space. The work retains the immediacy of street photography while using sequence and editing to sustain a broader social inquiry.
Current Project
Fe(e)d examines how algorithmic feeds intervene in attention, intimacy, and social reality. By holding together the ideas of being fed and living inside the feed, the project asks what happens to human connection as systems increasingly make choices on our behalf.
