At the 2026 Black and White International Photo Awards (B&W IPA), the series “The Forbidden Snow” received an Honorable Mention in the “Winter Vision” category. Organized by the B&W IPA Association in Paris and dedicated to contemporary black-and-white photography, the result was certified by Jury President Souhayl A. The award includes a total prize fund of $2,000, gallery exhibitions in Manhattan (New York) and Le Marais (Paris), a published photo book by Snap Collective, and features in Openeye and FotoSlovo magazines.
In its notification email, the organizers noted that while the entry did not win the grand prize, many jury members found the work good and encouraged continued progress — particularly in the “Editing” step.
